Lindsey Robinson | 23 | Single | Half-Blood | Divinations Assistant | Former Student at the Salem Institute | FC: Lana Del Rey | TAKEN
For all anybody knows, it’s simply a coincidence that the new, and rather American sounding at that, Divinations assistant Lindsey Robinson bore the same last name as former Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, David Robinson. But in reality and in retrospect, Lindsey Elisa Robinson is the younger sister of David Robinson. The two had a relationship that was strained to say the least; people would see them and say, “No way they’re related.” They couldn’t stand even breathing the same air. So much so that after two years of being a Gryfindor at Hogwarts, she found herself living in the shadow of her older, much more popular brother. So, being the practical young woman she was, Lindsey refused to start conflict, and instead, left Hogwarts to attend the Salem Witches’ Institute.
When Lindsey got to America, the girl practically reinvented herself. She became more outgoing, more rambunctious, a bit promiscuous.. almost like her brother. But she didn’t notice, not really. She was the picture of perfection, but little did people know what was brewing under her carefully collected features. After she finished school, the girl spent four years in America, moving from place to place almost religiously, enjoying the country and the freedom it offered her. As Lindsey got older, the things that seemingly plagued her existence but allowed her to excel greatly in the subject of divinations seemed to only become more and more potent. But she let them swirl around in her head, and the girl is certainly a little more than heavy on the inside. But it’s not something susceptible.
Because, without being told, Lindsey knew her brother was dead. She wasn’t particularly heartbroken about knowing he was gone, but what had ate away at her was the images of it before it happened, the slow anticipation.. and then of course, after the incident had occured, her guilt of knowing and not intervening. When Lindsey was offered the opportunity to return to Hogwarts, she jumped at it. She wasn’t specifically keen on getting a job or that job in particular (though it was certainly fitting), Lindsey more than anything wished to pay silent homage to the brother she was convinced she hated. Even now, though, Lindsey is outgoing and pleasant, a very amicable persona.
